first logo isn't that somple since it used more then one color. the type is not very bold. the size is pretty good and readable.seconf logo went a little more simple using just two colors. the type on top is bigger and readable as for the type below it is harder to read...this logo would look better in a bigger scale...at the same time it brings it down to a simple level.the third logo is alot more busy..they have colors, a picture and different fonts going on..there is nothing simple about that logo..its to wide and to tall for me..the fourth logo is nice an d simple.uses one color andgets right to the point. it may be to wide but it would still look great if scaled smaller.the font isn't to trendy either.
ReplyDeleteThe logos are simple, bold and clear, the top one is not too simple since it does have multiple color but is still not to crazy. The top two have contrast between the image and the name, which make them visible. the htc and hair design have contrast between the both fonts. All logos are not too tall or to wide, well except the one with the scissors, they're too big in my opinion. the last one android is great! bold, simple not to wide, readable, and attractive because of the word arrangement.
ReplyDeleteall the logos presented here are quite simple and bold but according to the what make a good logo presentation some of them aren't quite good for all sizes and aren't so unique. for example the first logo at first sight i didn't realize what it was until a research on it but i like the colors it used because it represents agriculture. the fourth logo can be improve because it is too tall. on the contrary, the last one is to wide but it goes well because it's unique and limited in color.

To be honest, after looking at the 1st logo for like 5 minutes, I still have no idea what it's trying to represent. It isn't memorable at all and depends on too many colors in its design. I do like how it's pretty simple though. It probably shouldn't have used the same font for both the first and second line though. It looks a little unprofessional. Maybe if they made the second line thinner while drawing attention to the first? I like the htc logo. It's kind of playful, matches with its slogan, yet simple. I liked the way the designer used two different fonts. Android would be a good logo for an online site, but it wouldn't really work out well in print media, in my opinion. I like how they're all a relatively good size, except for the one with the scissors which is a bit too large. They'd all fit well on business cards or on a billboard. I really like the symbol for envision.
ReplyDeleteFirst up to bat is Jodbruks Verket I'm not to sure what the logo is for but it follows some of the rules. It is simple, BOLD, not too tall or too wide, & K.I.T. Even though is uses three colors it still works as far because the colors are not real bright and one color does not over power one another. For some strange reason when I look at the typeface I think of Tortilla Chips... Also I don't think it would look right on a business card. Up next is envision solar. Simple, K.I.T., unique, has that business feel to it like it was made for a business based of the white BG it's sitting on. The type should be a little different and a little bolder. The picture has three colors but it works with the logo over all. Cool colors. Complement each other. Third logo htc. Not unique, not bold, it is K.I.T., & to square. The htc might suggest a Tech company or something. The phrase should be in a different typeface. I wouldn't say that is real brilliant. Fourth Logo. Simple, one color, K.I.T., unique for the fact that if you turn the logo so it is standing up it look like a lock of hair gonna get cut. It would look good on a business card, billboard, bus bench, blimp T-Shirt and a few others. For the last logo I can't really tell what it says. There is BOLDNESS, uniqueness, & only one color. The reflection would look great on a website but not on a business card or T-Shirt. it would even look cool on a bumper sticker. It could be a little taller. I really don't know what it's for so I have nothing more to say about it.
ReplyDeleteI like how the first two have incorporated images or graphics into their logos; using a combination of ideagaroph and logotype. All logos are simple and bold which are good aspcets to have. All the logos appear as if they would work well in various sizes. I espcially like the Android logo beacuse of its simplistic desing and creative typogarphy attributes. All logos are readable, unique and very simple.
ReplyDeletethe first one is for a vurket, i don't know what that means. hahaa. the second one is for a energy company, because the colors from the pictograph has orange for sun, and green and blue for energy saving. THC, might be for a computer business or some kind of software company. CIMEAR'S is a hair styles company. and ANDROID seems to be a gaming company. the fonts look futuristic.

The first logo looks like it would have to do with traveling on the road. The three colors remind me of the sky, the grass and the road. This logo uses all the elements to a good logo.
ReplyDeleteThe second logo has to do with solar energy. The circular logo makes me think of recycling or a circular wind motion. This logo i would use a bolder font or change the color to black so that is bolder. The logo overpowers the name.
Not to sure with the third logo. It uses all the elements of a good logo.
The fourth would be a salon. Or something that has to do with the hair industry. This logo i would use a bolder font.
And the fifth logo must be some kind electronics company. It uses all the elements of a good logo.

Jordbruks from first glance gives me the idea of a road but when you study it and see the colors, there is no black pavement, more of a dirt like floor towards infinity? I want to say that the logo is for like an insurance firm for farms? The logo design is modern so I don't want to say it's like for a farm. After I googled the logo from the glance I saw animals. Now that I apply that image of animals to the logo, it kind of makes sense. I like it it's simple, color choice is attractive for what it is. Grade A-. Now the second one "envision solar" it looks like solar powered products to me. The word solar gives the icon value. It's simple, not as bold. I wouldn't be attracted to the logo and I don't understand the blue in the logo. overall a B. Next logo the "htc" logo. I didn't like the logo, its a "smart phone company" from the website I was directed too off google. To me a smart phone company now a days, I expect them to go for more of an ambitious daring look since they are the "new future" regular every day cell phone. I'm not saying go all out, but not just traditional straight letters for a logo, I would leave that to apple which has no choice but to emphasize type in their new products (like iPhone and iPad lol which btw, iPad is horrible name for the new tablet) since making a logo for each of their product would not only be hard and difficult to make/adapt but would also take away attention from the "prestigious" (now) apple logo itself. but for a smart phone company that isn't that big and still wants in the big cellphone business, I would go bolder than just HTC. apple is a big company to compete with, now, and "quietly brilliant" isn't giving me a reason to switch my iPhone to an HTC smart phone. Grade C. Next logo "cimear's hair design" I Like IT! self explanatory I like how anyone can communicate with the design and say "oh that's a place were they do hair." that's always good. overall B+. and last but not least. "android." I like it but it reminds me of the movie Tron, maybe because I personally stumbled upon the new trailer for the movie coming soon I don't know when, or maybe I've just heard that word an awful lot around the web and products. droid android whatever, I'm kind of over that word in any way shape or form. the design is good composition isn't too abstract. Overall B-.
