Observing a Tourism Video











The logo looks fun. Colors look fun. But art direction, lighting, video editing, and the music soundtrack are also important in communicating the right message to the audience you're trying to reach. View this video http://www.ridetheducks.com/. Does it seem fun? Would you sign up for this tour? You will definitely laugh.

QUESTION: I think one designer worked on this layout, and did a pretty good job with what they were given. Then someone added type later (after the design was completed). Can you guess which area a junior designer might've added?

  1. i would say that "laugh fun for everyone" is the area added by a junior designer, because the overlapping words makes the message difficult to read.

  2. yea i have to agree the laugh for everyone, is probably made by the junior designer. I overall like the logo and add, i would defenetly sign up.

  3. Thats funny I have actually been on the Branson tour. It was seriously cheesy.

    As far as design goes it all seems to have a unified color theme and is pretty cohesive all except for that "laugh fun for everyone" Besides it being a stupid catch phrase; the colors just aren't quite right. the green feels too fuzzy and it was terrible placement to cover up the LAUGH. the L almost becomes an I. I feel for the original designer.
